Activities

  • Draw and label a STEAM mind map: Start by drawing a large circle in the center of your paper. Write "STEAM" inside the circle. Around the circle, draw smaller circles for each letter of STEAM. In each circle, write down words or draw pictures of things that relate to that specific area of STEAM. For example, in the "S" circle, you can write "Scientist," "Solar System," or draw a picture of a microscope.

  • Research and create a collage: Use a computer or tablet to research different STEAM-related topics that interest you. Find images, articles, or videos that represent those topics. Print or cut out the images and arrange them on a piece of paper to create a collage. For example, if you are interested in technology, you can include pictures of computers, robots, or smartphones.

  • Design and build a simple structure: Using household items like paper clips, rubber bands, or straws, challenge yourself to build a structure that can hold a small object, like a toy car or a small book. Experiment with different designs and see which one is the most stable and can support the weight without collapsing.

  • Mathematics: Mathematics is the language of numbers and patterns. It helps us solve problems, make predictions, and understand the world in a logical way. We use math in everyday life, from counting money to measuring ingredients for a recipe. Math is everywhere!
