  • Open space or backyard

Activities

  • Warm-up: Start with a quick warm-up to get your body ready for baseball. You can jog in place, do some jumping jacks, or stretch your muscles.
  • Catch and Throw: Practice your catching and throwing skills by playing catch with a partner. Stand a few feet apart and take turns throwing and catching the ball. Remember to use your glove to catch and throw with your opposite hand.
  • Hitting Practice: Set up a small target using a cone, bucket, or any object you have available. Take turns hitting the ball towards the target. Focus on your stance, swing, and aiming for the target.
  • Base Running: Set up imaginary bases in your open space or backyard. Practice running from one base to another, making sure to touch each base with your foot. You can time yourself to see how fast you can run the bases.
  • Mini Game: Divide into two teams and play a mini-game of baseball. Assign positions to each player and take turns batting, fielding, and running the bases. Keep score and see which team wins!
