Objective
The objective of this lesson is to reinforce arithmetic skills through fun activities related to Five Nights at Freddy's.
Materials and Prep
- Paper and pencil
- Calculator (optional)
- Basic understanding of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Activities
-
Freddy's Pizza Order: Create a menu for Freddy's Pizza with various items and their prices. Ask the student to solve arithmetic problems related to the menu, such as finding the total cost of multiple items or calculating change for a given amount of money.
-
Count the Animatronics: Show the student a picture of the animatronics from Five Nights at Freddy's. Ask them to count the number of each animatronic and perform arithmetic operations with the counts, such as finding the total number of animatronics or calculating the average number of animatronics per night.
-
Foxy's Time Challenge: Provide the student with a series of time-related problems, such as calculating the duration of each night at Freddy's or determining the time it takes for Foxy to reach the office. Encourage the use of both analog and digital clocks for practice.
