Activities

  1. Explore Different Journaling Styles

Encourage the student to research and explore different journaling styles such as bullet journaling, art journaling, or reflective journaling. They can create a list of different styles and write a short description for each.

  2. Start a Journal

Have the student start their own journal by choosing a theme or topic they are interested in. They can decorate the cover and write an introductory entry explaining their motivation for starting the journal.

  3. Journaling Prompts

Provide a list of journaling prompts for the student to choose from. They can pick one prompt and write a journal entry based on it. Some prompts could include: "Describe a place that makes you feel calm and why," or "Write about a goal you want to achieve in the next year."

  4. Visual Journaling

Introduce the concept of visual journaling, where the student can incorporate drawings, doodles, or collages into their journal entries. Encourage them to create a visual representation of a recent experience or emotion.

  5. Reflect and Share
