Activities

  • Watch an Anime episode or clip with English subtitles and take notes on interesting phrases or expressions you hear.
  • Create a dialogue between two Anime characters using the phrases and expressions you noted down. Act it out or write it down as a script.
  • Discuss the dialogue you created, explaining why you chose certain phrases and how they contribute to the characters' personalities.
  • Write a short paragraph analyzing the use of English language in Anime, focusing on specific examples from the episode or clip you watched.
  • Optional: Create your own Anime-inspired artwork or comic strip and write English dialogue for the characters.
