Chapter 2: Wilbur

Fern takes care of Wilbur and feeds him every day. He grows bigger and bigger. However, when Wilbur is a little older, Fern's father decides that they need to sell him. Fern is very sad about this and cries, but she has to let him go. A neighbor named Mr. Zuckerman buys Wilbur, and he goes to live in a barn on the Zuckerman farm. Fern visits Wilbur often because she misses him.
