Art Activity
1. Research one significant African empire (such as the Mali Empire, Songhai Empire, or the Kingdom of Ghana).

3. Write a short paragraph (3-5 sentences) explaining your artwork and how it relates to the empire you researched.
Social Studies Activity

2. Create a timeline of key events in the history of the empire you researched in the art activity. Include at least three significant events.
3. Answer the following questions:
