The sewage process is how we treat wastewater to make it safe for the environment. First, sewage is collected from homes and businesses and sent to a treatment plant. At the plant, solid waste is removed, and the water is treated to eliminate harmful substances. Finally, the cleaned water can be released into rivers or lakes, while the solid waste is disposed of properly.
