- Potential uses (e.g., cooking, tea, medicinal)
3. Herbal Recipes
Choose one of the herbs you researched above and create a simple recipe. This could be a tea, infusion, or an herbal remedy. Include:
- Ingredients
- Instructions
- Any safety notes or precautions (if applicable)
4. Personal Reflection
Reflect on the role of herbalism in homesteading. Answer the following questions:
- How do you think herbs can benefit a homesteader's lifestyle?
- What are the advantages of using herbs instead of commercial products?
5. Creative Activity
Create a small poster (on paper or digitally) showcasing one of the herbs you've researched. Include:
- A picture or drawing of the herb
- Description of its uses
- A fun fact about the herb
6. Digging Deeper
Find a video or article about herbalism and summarize what you learned. What new information did you find interesting or surprising?
