Activity 1: My Family Tree
Draw a picture of your family. Include:
- Your mom
- Your dad
- You
- Any pets
What is something special about each person? Write or draw it next to their picture!
Activity 2: Time Travel
Imagine you could time travel to one of these places from history:
- The time of dinosaurs
- A castle with knights and princesses
- The first moon landing
Draw a picture of what you would see in that time!
Activity 3: My Favorite Old Toy
Think about a toy or game that has been in your family for a long time.
1. Draw a picture of it.
2. Write one sentence about why you love it and how long your family has had it!
Activity 4: Story Time
Listen to a story about a famous person from history. Some examples are:
- George Washington
- Rosa Parks
- Martin Luther King Jr.
After you hear the story, draw your favorite part and tell someone about it!
Activity 5: History Explorer
Choose one object in your house that is old. It could be:
- A picture
- A book
- A piece of furniture
Tell someone about it! Where do you think it came from? How old do you think it is?
