1. Béchamel Sauce
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- Salt and white pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir in flour to form a roux, cooking for about 2 minutes.
- Gradually whisk in milk, cooking until thickened.
- Season with salt and white pepper.

2. Tomato Sauce
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- Salt, pepper, and basil to taste
