Passage 1: Romans 12:2
"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
Questions:
- What do you think it means to "not be conformed to this world"? Give your interpretation in a few sentences.
- How can you actively work on renewing your mind? List at least three practical steps.
- Reflect on a group or a trend in your life that you feel pressured to conform to. How can you choose to stand apart from it?
Passage 2: Philippians 4:8
"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."

Passage 3: Colossians 3:2
