2. A space shuttle has 8 engines. If each engine can provide 5 minutes of thrust, how many minutes of thrust do all the engines provide together?
3. A rocket assembly line produces 6 rockets a day. How many rockets are produced in 7 days?
Division Word Problems
1. A rocket launches 12 satellites. If they are placed in 3 different orbits, how many satellites go into each orbit?
2. There are 15 astronauts on a mission. If they need to be divided equally into 5 space shuttles, how many astronauts will be on each shuttle?
3. A space agency has 28 boxes of rocket fuel. If they want to distribute the fuel equally in 8 rockets, how many boxes will each rocket get?
