Instructions

Choose one of the characters from the Harry Potter series: Harry, Hermione, or Ron. Write a diary entry from their perspective. Use the character's traits and experiences to guide your writing. Consider their thoughts, feelings, and observations about the events happening in their life. Your diary entry should be at least 200 words long.

Character Traits to Consider:

  • Harry: Brave, loyal, often feels like an outsider, concerned about friends.
  • Hermione: Intelligent, diligent, sometimes anxious, values friendship and justice.
  • Ron: Humorous, supportive, occasionally insecure, values loyalty and companionship.

Writing Tips:

  • Start your entry with "Dear Diary," to make it personal.
  • Express the character’s emotions and thoughts about recent events.
  • Use descriptive language to bring the character's experiences to life.
  • End with a reflection on what they hope for the future or how they feel about the day's events.

Example Diary Entry Starter:

Dear Diary,

Today was one of those days where I felt like the weight of the world was on my shoulders...

Remember to take your time and really think about how your chosen character would feel in their current situation. Happy writing!
