A Day at the Zoo
Last Sunday, Emma and her family visited the zoo. She had never seen so many animals before! Her favorite was the giant elephant. It had big, floppy ears and a long trunk that curled and uncurled as it ate leaves from the trees. Emma laughed when the monkey swung from the bars and chattered loudly. She also saw lions resting in the sun and zebras running quickly across the field.
Emma's little brother, Max, loved the giraffes. "Look, Emma, their necks are so long!" he exclaimed. Emma smiled and took a photo of the giraffes eating leaves from the tall trees. She thought it was amazing how they could reach so high.
After a long day, Emma and her family went home, tired but happy. Emma couldn't stop talking about all the animals she had seen and couldn't wait to go back to the zoo again.
