Sam quickly flew back to his nest, gathered some dry leaves, and returned to the stream. He used the leaves to create a small barrier to guide the fish to safety. The fish thanked Sam and promised to help him someday.When Sam returned to his nest, he found that a strong wind had knocked down some branches, blocking the entrance. He tried to move them but couldn’t. Just then, the fish, whose name was Finley, jumped out of the stream and pushed the branches away with his powerful tail. Sam was thrilled and thanked Finley for his help. From that day on, Sam and Finley became the best of friends.

From that day on, Mrs. Thompson made sure to store the biscuits in a tightly sealed jar and gave Whiskers his own special treats. The family laughed about the "biscuit thief" every time they sat down for breakfast.
