Let's build a story! Follow the steps below to create your very own amazing tale. Use your imagination and have fun.
Part 1: Create Your Character
Every story needs a hero. Let's invent one!
1. What is your character's name?
2. What do they look like? Use two describing words (adjectives). (For example: tall, friendly, sparkly, brave)
3. What is their favourite thing to do?
4. Your character has a secret. What is it? (For example: they can talk to animals, they have a magic key, they can fly on Tuesdays)
Part 2: Choose the Setting
Where does your story happen? Tick the box next to your favourite idea, or write your own!

Part 3: The Story Plan
A story has a beginning, a middle, and an end. Plan what will happen in your story in the boxes below.

Part 4: Write Your Story
Now, use all your ideas from Parts 1, 2, and 3 to write your full story. Remember to use capital letters and full stops.

Suddenly, the soft humming stopped and the cave became very dark. Pip was scared. Then, Pip remembered the secret magic key in their pocket. Pip took out the key and it began to glow with a warm, golden light. The key lit up a path on the floor.
Pip followed the glowing path and found the way out of the cave. The sun was shining outside. Pip was happy to be safe and decided the magic key was the best treasure of all.
