Part 1: Lowercase Letter Sounds
Instructions: Point to each letter below and ask the student, "What sound does this letter make?"

This assessment focuses on the most common sound for each letter. Short vowel sounds and hard 'c' and 'g' sounds are expected. Variations are acceptable but the primary sound is listed below.
