Part 1: What Are Human Rights?
Imagine a set of invisible rules that protect everyone in the world. These are Human Rights! They are promises that say you should be treated with fairness and respect, no matter who you are, where you live, or what you believe. You are born with them, and no one can take them away. They make sure everyone has a chance to live a safe, free, and happy life.
Some of the most important human rights include:
- The Right to Education
- The Right to Play and Rest
- The Right to Be Safe from Harm
- The Right to Be Treated Equally
- The Right to Your Own Thoughts and Beliefs
- The Right to Food and Shelter
