Instructions
Let's learn about the Rainbow to 10! Just like a beautiful rainbow connects two points in the sky, we can connect two numbers to make the number 10. The numbers at each end of the rainbow's arc are partners that always add up to 10!
Part 1: The Rainbow Pairs
Look at the rainbow pairs that make 10. Then, fill in the missing partner number on the line.
- 1 + 9 = 10
- 2 + 8 = 10
- 3 + 7 = 10
- 4 + 6 = 10
- 5 + 5 = 10
4 + = 10
+ 8 = 10
1 + = 10
+ 7 = 10
5 + = 10
Part 2: Connect the Friends of 10
The numbers in the boxes are all mixed up! Draw a line to connect one number from the top row to its "friend" in the bottom row to make a pair that adds up to 10.

Part 3: Find and Circle
In the grid below, find pairs of numbers next to each other (horizontally or vertically) that add up to 10. Circle each pair you find. There are 5 pairs to find!
Part 4: Number Bond Challenge
Complete the number bonds. The two smaller numbers should add up to the big number at the top, which is always 10!
