Instructions

Welcome to the Long Division Challenge! Remember the four main steps to solve these problems. A good way to remember the order is the phrase: Does McDonald's Sell Burgers?

  • Divide: See how many times the divisor fits into a part of the dividend.
  • Multiply: Multiply the number you just got by the divisor.
  • Subtract: Subtract your result from the part of the dividend you were working on.
  • Bring down: Bring down the next digit from the dividend.

Repeat these steps until you have no more numbers to bring down. If there's a number left at the end, that's your remainder!
