Instructions
Let's go on a rounding adventure! Rounding makes big numbers simpler and easier to work with. Remember the simple rule:
Look at the digit to the right of the place you are rounding to.
Five or more, let it soar! (Round UP)
Four or less, let it rest! (Round DOWN)
Part 1: Round to the Nearest 10
For these numbers, look at the ones digit to decide if you will round up or down. Your answer will always end in a 0.
Example: 37 -> The ones digit is 7. That's "five or more," so we round UP to 40.
Example: 82 -> The ones digit is 2. That's "four or less," so we round DOWN to 80.

Part 2: Round to the Nearest 100
Now, let's try bigger numbers! Look at the tens digit to decide if you round up or down. Your answer will always end in 00.
Example: 462 -> The tens digit is 6. That's "five or more," so we round UP to 500.
Example: 239 -> The tens digit is 3. That's "four or less," so we round DOWN to 200.
