Mia came into his room. "The one you were playing with yesterday?" she asked. Leo nodded sadly. Mia helped him look. They searched his room again, but found nothing. "Think, Leo," Mia said. "Where were you playing after school?"

Leo thought for a moment. "I was in the living room, building a fort with the sofa cushions." They both hurried to the living room. Mia lifted a big blue cushion, and there it was! The little red race car was tucked safely underneath. Leo cheered and gave his sister a big hug.
