The Magical Sock

One morning, a boy named Finn woke up and couldn't find his favourite sock. It was a bright blue sock with yellow lightning bolts on it. "Where has it gone?" he wondered aloud. He looked under his bed and inside his wardrobe.

Suddenly, he heard a tiny giggle coming from the laundry basket. Finn walked quietly towards it. A little blue head peeked out. It was his sock! The sock jumped gracefully out of the basket and began to dance around the room. "You can't catch me!" it squeaked in a tiny voice.

Finn laughed and chased the sock happily. Yesterday, the sock was just a normal sock, but today it was alive! Finally, Finn caught the sock. "That was the best game ever," Finn said. The sock wiggled in his hand as if it was agreeing. Finn decided he wouldn't wear his magical sock. He would keep it as his secret friend instead.
