How long is each leaf? Measure from the start of the stem to the tip of the leaf and write the length.
Read each problem carefully and write your answer.
4. An oak leaf is 6 inches long. A smaller maple leaf is 2 inches shorter. How long is the maple leaf?
5. An inchworm crawled 3 inches along a stem to eat a leaf. Then, it crawled another 2 and a half inches to a flower. How far did the inchworm crawl in total?
6. You are making a leaf rubbing collage. You have a piece of paper that is 12 inches long. If you place a 4-inch leaf and a 5-inch leaf end-to-end on the paper, how many inches of paper are left over?
