Let's learn how to measure fall treasures in inches! Look at the ruler below each object. Here's how to do it:

  1. Make sure the left edge of the object lines up with the "0" on the ruler.
  2. Look at the right edge of the object to see where it ends.
  3. The big lines with numbers are inches.
  4. The line right in the middle of two numbers is the half-inch mark. We write this as 1/2.
  5. Read the number on the ruler where the object ends. If it ends on a half-inch mark, you would write it like this: 3 1/2 inches.

Measure each fall object below and write its length.
