Answer Key

  1. Answer: 45,000 Beli
    Working: 280,000 + 125,000 = 405,000. Then, 450,000 - 405,000 = 45,000.
  2. Answer: 3,640 total damage
    Working: 520 x 7 = 3,640.
  3. Answer: 46,500 Beli each
    Working: 186,000 ÷ 4 = 46,500.
  4. Answer: Two million, eight hundred thousand
  5. Answer: 8,000 HP left
    Working: First find 1/5: 20,000 ÷ 5 = 4,000. Then find 3/5: 4,000 x 3 = 12,000 (damage done). Finally, 20,000 - 12,000 = 8,000. (Alternatively, if 3/5 is gone, 2/5 is left. 4,000 x 2 = 8,000).
  6. Answer: 8,500 metres
    Working: 8.5 x 1000 = 8,500.
  7. Answer: 1,150,000 Beli
    Working: 3,000,000 - 1,850,000 = 1,150,000.
  8. Answer: You can spin 7 times, with 30,000 Beli left over.
    Working: 1,500,000 ÷ 210,000 = 7.14... So, you can spin 7 times. To find the leftover: 210,000 x 7 = 1,470,000. Then, 1,500,000 - 1,470,000 = 30,000.
