Becoming a Goal-Setting Superstar is like being the captain of your own ship! This worksheet will help you create a map to reach your treasure. Follow the steps below to take a big dream and turn it into a real plan you can follow to success.
Part 1: What's Your Big Goal?
Think about something you really want to achieve. It could be learning a new skill, getting better at a hobby, improving in a school subject, or building a good habit. Write down your big goal idea in the box below.
Part 2: Make Your Goal S.M.A.R.T.
The best goals are S.M.A.R.T. goals! This helps make your goal super clear and easy to follow. Let's break down the goal you wrote above.
-
S - Specific: What exactly do you want to do? Be as clear as possible. (Instead of "get better at drawing," try "learn to draw a realistic-looking cat.")
-
M - Measurable: How will you know when you've reached your goal? How can you track your progress? (Example: "I will score at least 8 out of 10 on my next spelling test.")
-
A - Achievable: Is this goal realistic for you right now? You can dream big, but make sure the goal is something you can actually accomplish with effort.
-
R - Relevant: Why is this goal important to YOU? Does it excite you and match your interests?
-
T - Time-bound: When do you want to achieve this goal? Setting a deadline keeps you motivated. (Example: "by the end of this month," or "by my birthday.")
Part 3: What Are Your Action Steps?
A big goal is just a bunch of small steps. What are the first few things you need to do to get started? List at least three steps below.

Part 4: Plan for Roadblocks
