A Trip Through Time!
The Stone Age
A very, very long time ago, people lived in the Stone Age. They didn't have metal, so they made sharp tools and weapons from stone! They lived in caves and hunted big animals like woolly mammoths. They also loved to draw pictures of animals on their cave walls.
The Bronze Age
Later, people learned a secret! They found out how to mix two soft metals together to make a new, strong metal called bronze. They made better tools, shiny jewelry, and stronger swords from bronze. They also started to become good farmers and build small villages.
The Iron Age
After the Bronze Age came the Iron Age. People discovered iron, which was even stronger than bronze! They could make the best tools yet for farming and building. People lived in bigger, stronger villages called hillforts to stay safe.
