Instructions
- Preparation: Review the Useful Vocabulary and Phrase Bank sections below. These will help you speak naturally during the activity.
- The Catalog: Complete the "Holiday Offers" table. Use your imagination to create different vacation packages to sell to your customers.
- Role-Play: Find a partner. One person is the Travel Agent and one is the Customer. Choose a scenario from the "Role-Play Scenarios" section.
- Switch: After 5 minutes, swap roles so everyone practices being the Travel Agent.
- Challenge: If you finish early, try the Bonus Challenge at the bottom of the page.

- Customer: You want a relaxing 5-day holiday. You have $1,000. You hate cold weather.
- Agent: Try to sell a tropical beach package. Remind them about the sun and the pool.
Scenario B: The Adventurer
- Customer: You want to go hiking or see mountains. You are a student, so your budget is low ($400).
- Agent: Suggest a camping trip or a local mountain hostel. Try to keep the price low.
Scenario C: The Luxury Traveler
- Customer: Money is no problem! You want the best hotel and first-class service.
- Agent: Suggest the most expensive package. Mention spas, private tours, and 5-star food.
Section 5: Bonus Challenge
The "Change of Plans" Problem: Suddenly, the flight to the customer's destination is canceled!
- Agent: Offer a different destination or a different date for the same price.
- Customer: Decide if you want the new offer or if you want a refund (your money back).
