Read through the scenarios provided below. For each one, think about how you can ask for assistance to improve your personal health and the health of others. Write down your responses in the spaces provided.
Scenario 1: Personal Health Improvement
You want to start exercising regularly but feel unsure about how to begin. Write a short message to a trusted friend or family member asking for help.
Scenario 2: Nutrition Guidance
You are not eating enough fruits and vegetables, and you want to change that. Ask a parent or caregiver for assistance in planning healthier meals.
Scenario 3: Mental Health Support
You have been feeling stressed about school and want someone to talk to. Write a short note to a teacher or school counselor asking for support.
Scenario 4: Helping Others
You notice that a friend seems down and is not taking care of themselves. Write a message to your friend offering your support and asking how you can help them.
Reflection
After you have completed the scenarios, take a moment to think about why it is important to ask for help when it comes to health. Write a few sentences reflecting on your thoughts.
