Welcome to your End-of-Year Strengths Portfolio! At the start of 6th grade, you identified your top three strengths: Caring, Relating, and Presence. Now that you are 12 and preparing to step into 7th grade, it is time to look back at how far you have come and plan your next steps.
Follow these steps to complete this worksheet:
- Review the definitions of your three core strengths in Section 1.
- Analyze your year by completing the Strength Evidence Log in Section 2, using real-life examples from your life (family, friends, pets, online communities, or hobbies).
- Write a short, descriptive narrative about a moment you felt proud of using one of your strengths in Section 3.
- Set actionable goals for 7th grade in Section 4.
Section 1: The Strength Decoder
Before diving into your reflections, match each strength to its core definition below by writing the correct letter (A, B, or C) in the blank space.

Section 3: Strength Spotlight (Descriptive Writing)
Choose one specific moment from your Strength Evidence Log above. Write a short, descriptive paragraph (4–6 sentences) telling the story of that moment.
Language Arts Focus: Use sensory details (what you saw, heard, or felt) and strong action verbs to bring your story to life.
Hint: Start with an engaging hook! (e.g., "The screen flickered to life, and I knew it was my turn to lead..." or "My dog's ears perked up the moment I walked in with the brush...")
Section 4: Looking Ahead to 7th Grade
Goals are like roadmaps for your strengths. For each of your three strengths, write one specific goal for your upcoming 7th-grade year. Think about how you can stretch yourself further.
