About the Boston Freedom Trail
The Boston Freedom Trail is a 2.5-mile-long path through downtown Boston that passes by 16 significant historical sites. This trail tells the story of the American Revolution and the growth of the United States. Key sites along the trail include:
- Boston Common
- Massachusetts State House
- Old North Church
- Paul Revere House
- Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum
The trail is marked by a red brick line on the sidewalk, making it easy for visitors to follow. Each site provides insight into the history of Boston and its role in the fight for independence.
