Instructions
Read through the steps before you begin cooking your lunch pockets!
- Gather all your ingredients: corn tortillas, ham, cheese, and any additional toppings you like (such as lettuce or tomatoes).
- Heat up a hot pan over an open flame carefully. Make sure to have an adult supervising you.
- Take a corn tortilla and place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese in the center. If you want, add any other toppings you like!
- Fold the tortilla in half carefully, using a spatula if needed to help close it.
- Using tongs, gently place the folded tortilla in the hot pan.
- Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side until it turns golden brown, then use the spatula to flip it over.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes on the other side until the cheese melts and the tortilla is crispy.
- When finished, carefully remove the lunch pocket from the pan with tongs and let it cool for a moment.
- Enjoy your delicious lunch pocket!
