Read through the steps before you begin cooking your lunch pockets!

  1. Gather all your ingredients: corn tortillas, ham, cheese, and any additional toppings you like (such as lettuce or tomatoes).
  2. Heat up a hot pan over an open flame carefully. Make sure to have an adult supervising you.
  3. Take a corn tortilla and place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese in the center. If you want, add any other toppings you like!
  4. Fold the tortilla in half carefully, using a spatula if needed to help close it.
  5. Using tongs, gently place the folded tortilla in the hot pan.
  6. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side until it turns golden brown, then use the spatula to flip it over.
  7. Cook for another 2-3 minutes on the other side until the cheese melts and the tortilla is crispy.
  8. When finished, carefully remove the lunch pocket from the pan with tongs and let it cool for a moment.
  9. Enjoy your delicious lunch pocket!
