Activities
- Read the Lego-themed storybook together.
- After reading, ask questions about the story.
- Have the student draw a picture of their favorite part of the story.
- Discuss the story and the student's drawing.
Take turns reading each page aloud. Pay attention to the words and try to understand the story.
Ask questions like: "Who were the main characters in the story?" or "What happened at the beginning, middle, and end of the story?" Encourage the student to answer using complete sentences.
Provide paper and pencil for the student to draw their favorite scene from the story. Encourage them to add details and color to their drawing.
Ask the student to describe their drawing and explain why they chose that particular scene. Engage in a conversation about the story, encouraging the student to share their thoughts and opinions.
