Materials and Prep
- Paper
- Pencil or pen
No prior knowledge or preparation is required for this lesson.
Activities
- Activity 1: Number Tracing
- Activity 2: Number Writing
- Activity 3: Number Hunt
Start by tracing the numbers 1 to 10 on a piece of paper. Pay attention to the shape and direction of each number.
Once you feel comfortable with tracing, try writing the numbers independently. Begin with number 1 and gradually work your way up to number 10.
Look around your house or outside for objects that represent each number. For example, find one toy car for number 1, two apples for number 2, and so on. Write down the numbers next to the objects you find.
