- Book Care Collage: Instruct the student to create a collage using pictures from old magazines or printed images that represent good book care practices, such as using bookmarks, avoiding food or drinks near books, and keeping books in a safe place.
- Design Your Own Book Cover: Ask the student to imagine they are an author and illustrator. Have them design a book cover for a story they create. Encourage creativity and attention to detail.
