Activities

  • Create your own suburb: Draw a picture or build a model of a suburb using blocks or other construction materials. Include houses, streets, parks, and any other features you would like to have in your ideal suburb.
  • Research existing suburbs: Use the internet or books to find information and pictures of real suburbs. Take notes on the different elements you find and discuss what you like or dislike about them.
  • Design a dream house: Imagine you are going to build your dream house in a suburb. Draw a detailed plan of your dream house, including the rooms, yard, and any special features you would like to have.
