Objective
By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to understand and identify key elements of ambulances, while practicing English and Math skills.
Materials and Prep
- Pen or pencil
- Blank paper
- Coloring materials (crayons, markers, etc.)
No prior knowledge or preparation is required for this lesson.
Activities
- Activity 1: Ambulance Vocabulary
- Activity 2: Count the Ambulances
- Activity 3: Design Your Own Ambulance
Ask the student to write down or draw different parts of an ambulance, such as wheels, lights, siren, etc. Encourage them to label each part.
Show the student a picture with multiple ambulances. Ask them to count how many ambulances they see and write the number down. For an extra challenge, ask them to count only the ambulances with their lights on.
Provide the student with a blank piece of paper and ask them to design their own ambulance. Encourage them to be creative and include all the important elements they learned about earlier.
