Objective
By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to demonstrate basic English language skills, including reading, writing, and comprehension.
Materials and Prep

- Flashcards
Before starting the lesson, make sure the student has a basic understanding of the alphabet and phonics.
Activities

Reading Practice
Have the student choose a book from their collection and read it aloud. Encourage them to use their finger to follow along with the words as they read.

Writing Exercise
Provide the student with a writing prompt, such as "Write about your favorite animal." Have them write a short paragraph about their chosen topic. Encourage proper sentence structure and spelling.

Phonics Flashcards
Show the student a series of flashcards with different letters or letter combinations. Ask them to pronounce the sound(s) associated with each card. Repeat until they are comfortable with the sounds.
