Materials and Prep
- A copy of the Pinocchio storybook

Activities
Read the story of Pinocchio together with the student. Encourage them to ask questions and discuss the plot and characters.
Ask the student to draw their favorite scene from the story and describe it in English. This will help them practice their vocabulary and storytelling skills.
Watch an animated version of Pinocchio online (if available). After watching, have a conversation about the similarities and differences between the book and the movie.
Play a game of "Pinocchio Says" to practice following instructions in English. Take turns being the leader and giving commands using Pinocchio-related actions.
Encourage the student to create their own puppet show based on Pinocchio. They can make puppets using paper and craft sticks, and perform a short skit for family members.
