Objective

By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to identify objects related to each day of the week in English.

Materials and Prep

  • Objects related to each day of the week (e.g., Monday - toy car, Tuesday - book, Wednesday - crayons, etc.)

Activities

  • Hide the objects around the room, making sure they are easily accessible for the student.
  • Explain to the student that they will be going on a scavenger hunt to find objects representing each day of the week.
  • Give the student a list of the days of the week in English, and help them understand the order.
  • Encourage the student to search for the objects, one day at a time.
  • As the student finds each object, have them name it in English and say which day of the week it represents.
  • Repeat the activity multiple times, allowing the student to practice naming the objects and associating them with the correct days of the week.
