Activities

  • Fishing Fun: Go fishing in Animal Crossing and keep track of the number of fish you catch. Create a bar graph to represent the data.
  • Bug Catching Challenge: Spend some time catching bugs in Animal Crossing. Count the number of bugs you catch in a specific time frame and calculate the average number of bugs caught per minute.
  • Fruit Harvest: Visit your in-game orchard and count the number of fruits on each tree. Add up the total number of fruits and practice addition and subtraction by selling some of them in the game.
  • Turnip Time: Learn about the turnip market in Animal Crossing and practice multiplication and addition. Buy turnips at a specific price and calculate the total cost. Then, monitor the in-game turnip prices throughout the week and calculate potential profits or losses.

Talking Points

  • Bug Catching Challenge: "Time to catch some bugs! We will count the number of bugs we catch within a specific time frame and calculate the average number of bugs caught per minute. This will help us see how fast we can catch bugs and compare our bug-catching skills."
  • Fruit Harvest: "Visit your in-game orchard and count the number of fruits on each tree. Let's add up the total number of fruits and practice addition and subtraction by selling some of them in the game. This will help us understand how many fruits we have and how much money we can earn."
  • Turnip Time: "In Animal Crossing, there's a turnip market. We will practice multiplication and addition by buying turnips at a specific price and calculating the total cost. Then, we will monitor the in-game turnip prices and calculate potential profits or losses. This will help us understand how the turnip market works and how to make the most money."
