By the end of this lesson, you will be able to write a creative diary entry using descriptive language and personal reflections.

Materials and Prep

Activities

  • Activity 1: Setting the Scene
    Imagine a memorable day you had recently. Write about the sights, sounds, and feelings of that day in your diary.
  • Activity 2: Character Development
    Create a fictional character and write a diary entry from their perspective. What would they write about? How would they express their emotions?
  • Activity 3: Time Travel
    Pretend you are living in a different era or even the future. Write a diary entry describing your daily life in that time period.
