Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to understand the concept of geography and identify different continents and oceans on a world map.

Materials and Prep

  • World map or globe
  • Colorful markers or crayons
  • Pen and paper
  • Basic knowledge of the world's continents and oceans

Activities

  • Map Coloring: Use the world map or globe to identify and color each continent with a different color. Label each continent.
  • Continent Scavenger Hunt: Write down the names of the continents on small pieces of paper and hide them around the house. Go on a scavenger hunt to find and match each continent to its name.
  • Ocean Quiz: Create a quiz with questions about the world's oceans. Test your knowledge and learn interesting facts about the oceans.
