Talking Points

  • Living Things: "Living things grow, reproduce, and respond to their environment. They need food, water, and air to survive."
  • Observing Nature: "When observing living things, pay attention to their size, shape, color, movement, and any unique features they have."
  • Adaptations: "Living things have adaptations that help them survive in their environment. These can be physical features or behaviors."
  • Interdependence: "Living things depend on each other and their environment. Changes in one part of an ecosystem can affect the whole system."
