- Paper
- Pencil
- Colorful markers or crayons
- Number cards from 0-9
- Understanding of basic counting (1-100)
Activities
- Number Towers: Use number cards to build towers representing two- and three-digit numbers. Discuss the role of each digit in the number.
- Zero Hero: Explore the importance of zero in numbers. Create numbers where zero plays different roles (e.g., 205, 302, 700).
- Number Line Race: Draw a number line on the floor or a long piece of paper. Place two- and three-digit number cards randomly on the line. Race to put them in the correct order.
- Number Art: Use colorful markers or crayons to represent two- and three-digit numbers in a creative way. For example, draw 123 as a rainbow or 456 as a rocket ship.
