Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to create art that represents the qualities of experiences and things that are interesting or beautiful.

Materials and Prep

Materials needed: paper, colored pencils or markers, ruler, pencil, eraser.

No prior knowledge required, just bring your creativity!

Activities

1. Nature Walk Sketch: Go for a nature walk and sketch the beautiful things you see like flowers, trees, or animals.

2. Abstract Art: Create a piece of abstract art using different colors and shapes to represent your feelings and experiences.

3. Collage Creation: Cut out pictures from magazines and create a collage that represents things that interest you.

  • What is art? Art is a way of expressing yourself and showing what you find beautiful or interesting. Remember, there are no right or wrong answers in art!
