No prior knowledge required, just bring your creativity!

Activities

1. Choose a theme for your artwork, such as nature, animals, or emotions.

2. Think of symbols that represent your chosen theme. For example, a heart for love, a sun for happiness, or a tree for growth.

3. Use the markers or crayons to draw your chosen symbols on the paper to create your artwork.

Talking Points

  • Think about what you want to express in your artwork. What feelings or ideas do you want to show?
  • "Imagine you are telling a story with pictures. What do you want people to understand when they look at your art?"

  • Symbols are like secret codes that help us understand things without using words. What symbols can you use to show happiness, sadness, or excitement?
  • "Symbols are like magic pictures that tell us something special. What magic pictures will you draw today?"

  • Remember, there are no right or wrong symbols. Your artwork is unique to you, so have fun and be creative!
  • "Your art is like a special treasure map only you can understand. What treasures will you uncover in your drawings?"
