Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to create your own holiday story and understand more about different holidays around the world.

Materials and Prep

Materials: Paper, crayons/markers, stickers, scissors, glue

Prep: Have a list of holidays around the world ready for discussion

Activities

1. Create Your Holiday: Draw and write about a holiday that you would like to celebrate. What do you do on that day? What special food do you eat?

2. Holiday Around the World: Learn about different holidays celebrated in different countries. Draw a picture of how that holiday is celebrated.

3. Storytime: Listen to a holiday story and draw a picture of your favorite part.
